Road Trip Planning 101

It's official! I have quit my job and am full steam ahead into the next chapter of my life! This chapter includes some solo-preneurship, some side-hustles, and dipping our toes into real estate. But MOST importantly, we're hitting the road in our RV Roo for a some exciting adventures around the U.S. Time to dive into some road trip planning!

PSA to Humans: Be Better

We should not have to discuss things like this but apparently we do. Nature is a privilege. Full stop. I think the pandemic was an opportunity for many to get out and explore nature more. All of a sudden, people were forced to find new activities that didn't involve the hospitality industry, so people flocked to the great outdoors. Last year I remember thinking it was great to see people getting out into nature more. Well humans, you all let me down!

24 Hours in Newport, RI

After a few months of stagnancy, my boyfriend and I decided we were both in need of a quick getaway to refuel our adventurous souls. When he first suggested Newport, RI, I wasn't all that excited about it since I had been there a million times before! Kyle on the other hand had not explored Newport that much at all so I was down for the adventure!

How to Avoid Crowds at Ginnie Springs

Ginnie Springs campground was something that my boyfriend remembered fondly from his childhood. He reminisced about family camping trips and days at the drag races nearby. But years later, he couldn't WAIT to show me the beautiful water of Ginnie Springs. So it was fitting that we'd have the opportunity to go this year for his 30th birthday! Maybe it's because we're just finishing up a pandemic or maybe it's my complete overwhelm by crowds sometimes, but Ginnie Springs campround was A LOT to take in. If you're like me and like to avoid big party crowds, here are some pointers.

Adventure Diary: Girls Getaway in Florida

It's been a while since I've written a good old fashioned Adventure Diary post! As much as I enjoy creating useful guides, it's fun to just share about good times with good friends! So when Kyle and I moved down to Florida for the winter, my friends from Mass and CT jumped at the opportunity to plan a weekend to come down and visit in January! Plus with two of our birthdays landing in January, it's a perfect excuse to celebrate!

Unpopular Opinion: Travel during Covid

I've seen a lot of back and forth on this topic lately. Especially now, as the vaccine rollout continues to progress, we're starting to see the travel industry get moving again, and people venturing out for the first time in over a year. Unfortunately there is still a lot of debate about travel during Covid. Here are a few of the opinions I've heard floating around throughout the last year.

One Day in Biscayne National Park

Of all the National Parks, Biscayne National Park might be one of the smallest and most unknown parks out of them all. I genuinely had no idea it existed prior to my time in Florida but I'm glad we made an effort to check it out. Depending on your interests, you could spend TONS of time in this park or get by with just one day! Here are some ways to see the park in just one day.
